Tumbling Classes & Tumble Team

 

 

CHEER 101:
This class is for athletes new to cheer that are not looking for anything competitive. We work on basic motions, jumps, stunting and tumbling.
 
FLEXIBILITY & JUMPS:
This class is for athletes in any form/level of cheer to work on their flexibility and jumps.
 
FLIGHT SCHOOL:
Flyers work with Coach Robbie and Coach Hassan on Flying skills ranging from basic to advanced and from partner stunting to traditional 4 person stunt group.
 
MOM/DAD & ME:
This class is for ages 1 to 3 and not potty trained. Parents work with the coaches to teach their athletes basic rolls, cartwheels and headstands. Obstacle courses, balance beam and trampoline are also utilized. The main focuses of the class are balance, agility, and FUN!
 
PRESCHOOL:
This class is a step up from Mom/Dad and Me. The prerequisites are potty trained and forward roll.
Parents no longer come out with their athlete. The class works basic rolls, cartwheels, handstands and bridges. Obstacle courses, balance beam and trampoline are utilized.
 
BEGINNER:
This class is a step up from Preschool. The prerequisites are a back roll, handstand, bridge and cartwheel.
The class advances on the basic skills learned in the Preschool class. Handstands are advanced into handstand rolls, handstand bridges, front limbers and front walkovers. Cartwheels are advanced into running cartwheels, roundoffs and running roundoffs. Bridges are advanced into bridge kickovers, fall back into bridges, backbend kickovers and back walkovers.
 
BACK HANDSPRING (BHS):
This class is a step up from beginner. The prerequisites are a back walkover, front limber, handstand and running roundoff.
This class works on back handsprings, front handsprings and roundoff back handsprings.
 
HANDSPRING/TUCK:
This class is a step up from back handspring. The prerequisites are a back handspring and round off back handspring
This class works on back handspring series, front punches, roundoff back handspring series, back tucks, roundoff tucks and roundoff back handspring tucks.
 
ADVANCED:
This class is a step up from level 2/3 Handspring/Tuck. The prerequisites are a roundoff back handspring tuck and standing back handspring series.
This class works on standing back tucks, front punch step out, roundoff back handspring layouts, arabians, and fulls.
 
FULLS:
This class focuses strictly on Fulls (standing and running).
The prerequisites are a roundoff back handspring layout.
